Interesting Cases in Court

It was a case that was hard to believe.
But it was just one of the court cases that had folks talking in 2011.
In April, 37-year-old William Bishop IV of Fremont was arrested after a man told police Bishop had attempted to hire him to kill the husband of Bishop's ex-girlfriend.
Bishop met the man - a professional clown - while driving a truck.
Bishop pleaded guilty in May to attempted conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, a Class III felony.
Dodge County District Court Judge Geoffrey Hall sentenced Bishop in July to 9 to 10 years in prison.
"The facts of this case are almost hard to believe," Hall told Bishop during sentencing. "... You're lucky you didn't choose someone who was serious or we would be looking at a totally different case."
Bishop acknowledged during sentencing that he likely would be headed to prison.
"What I did was probably wrong," he said. "I want to serve my time and get back on with my life."
Another Fremont story that made headlines around the state involved 57-year-old Kathy Madsen, who was arrested in July and accused of concealing her father's death.
Police officers went to the home Madsen shared with her 88-year-old father and found Raymond Madsen's badly decomposed body in a mummified state. Investigators determined Raymond Madsen had been dead for at least four months.
Last week, Kathy Madsen pleaded no contest to concealing the death of another person and theft by deception - Class I misdemeanors - and was sentenced to a year of probation by Dodge County Court Judge Kenneth Vampola.
Madsen also was ordered to pay more than $4,500 in restitution because Social Security deposits were made to her father's bank account after he died.
Another case that has attracted attention from around the state will go to trial early next year.
Hall set a March 13 trial date for 30-year-old Joshua Keadle, who is accused of sexually assaulting a then 15-year-old girl in 2008 at what was known as Midland Lutheran College.
Keadle, a student at Midland at the time, submitted a written waiver of formal arraignment and a written not guilty plea in August. He faces up to 50 years in prison if convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a minor, a Class II felony.
In November, prosecutors in Nemaha County dismissed a rape case against Keadle, although charges could be refiled.
In that case, the woman who accused Keadle of sexually assaulting her in Fremont testified during a motion hearing. She said she was in a dark room when Keadle entered and had sex with her. She testified that she thought she was with another man at the time.
Keadle also is listed as a person of interest in the Dec. 3, 2010, disappearance of Peru State student Tyler "Ty" Thomas.
In January, then Dodge County District Court Judge John Samson sentenced 18-year-old Makayla Thomas of Omaha to 4 to 8 years in prison for attempted first-degree assault, a Class III felony.
Thomas was 17 when she shot at her 27-year-old boyfriend at a Fremont apartment complex.
"It's a very dangerous situation that you created," Samson told Thomas at sentencing. "Not only the intended victim, but some innocent person could have been hurt by the stray bullets."
Three Omaha teens were sentenced earlier this year for their roles in the 2010 beating of a Fremont man in the parking lot at Fremont Middle School.
Hall sentenced 19-year-old Large King Jr. to 30 months to 5 years in prison, 19-year-old Katie Kahnk to 2 to 3 years and 19-year-old Tyler Berry to 18 months to 3 years for attempted first-degree assault, a Class IIIA felony.
Kahnk lured her 21-year-old ex-boyfriend to the parking lot, where he was beaten by King and Berry.
In August, Hall sentenced three Omahans to prison for their roles in the botched robbery of a Fremont coin dealer.
Twenty-nine-year-old Anthony Flud was sentenced to 3 to 5 years in prison and 32-year-old Sandie Zorinsky and 38-year-old Leonard Washington each were sentenced to a year in prison.
The three met a Fremont man at a park claiming they were selling gold coins, which turned out to be chocolate wrapped in foil. When the potential buyer arrived with cash, he was sprayed in the face with mace.
In November, 24-year-old William Hearn was sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison for possession of a firearm by a felon, a Class ID felony.
Hearn took part in a June home invasion where a baby sitter was held at gunpoint.

Facebook : Can give you more disadvantages

The following are the worst disadvantages of today's famous social networking website - Facebook:

1) Account Intrusion

It is no surprise that Facebook is vulnerable to attacks, and several hackers actively alter people’s profile information, on daily basis. There are hundreds of examples of this. Many Facebook and ex-Facebook users can tell you that they noticed change in their profile information while they were not logged in.
Also, lots of pictures are uploaded on Facebook every day. Yes, Facebook does check every upload for viruses but remember Facebook or any other website can’t check for all kind of viruses, particularly those which are recently released. On opening those virus-attached pics, you create danger to your data and your computer.

2) Scams

Many hackers have similar websites to Facebook. They continuously send emails to people asking to log in to their account to check new photos of
Facebook Scam

their friends, or similar message. When the user opens the website, it looks 100% facebook, then he enters his user id and password, not knowing that his account details is being stolen by a hacker.

3) Waste Of Life!

One of the biggest Facebook disadvantages is that it addictive or can become addictive easily.  Once you get connected with your facebook friends you will realize how frequently you open Facebook and also spend so much time in commenting, viewing other’s pictures, playing games or doing other stuff. Many people know drawbacks of using Facebook but can’t stop using it.
Many people use Facebook day and night without thinking how much time they have wasted on it, and that they could have done more important work during that time

4) Ruining the Professional Life

If you are applying for a new job, you know your chances of getting that job may be so much reduced because of your social networking website profile page? Often employs search for applicants’s social networking website’s profile page to know more about you.  Maybe you have put some humorous pics in your profile or maybe you have entered wrong information (maybe just for fun) in your profile.  Your employer will be shocked to see all that and you will not be given the job offer.

5) Can’t Keep Things Personal

You obviously not want your personal information exposed to every friend of yours. On Facebook your personal life updates come to the notice of all your friends, and so your privacy is compromised.

The Benefit of Sleeping on time at night

We have been thought that early to bed, early to rise makes a man healthy wealthy and wise. But do we actually obey it? Due to our inappropriate food habits and lifestyle, we are not able to get a good night’s sleep. Sleeping late in the night is not good for the health as the body’s system gets perturbed. Adults require at least 6 hours of sleep whereas children require 10 hours. Here are top ten benefits of sleeping early in the night.

Sleeping early in the night
Sleeping early in the night

Staying up late in the night is a way to torture your body with high blood pressure and cholesterol. These are the risks associated with the heart. If you do not want to worsen the situation get sufficient sleep.

A peaceful sleep in the night relieves physical and mental stress that is caused during the process of regular activities. It relaxes the body and mind. With insufficient sleep you are risking your health with heart strokes and other diseases.

3. Enhances memory

Sleeping early lets your mind arrange the thoughts well. Waking up early with a fresh mind will repossess all of it.

4. Protects you from diseases

By sleeping late in the night you are only stressing yourself which will increase the blood pressure and cholesterol levels. This routine can affect you with cancer and other heart diseases for life. So sleep early and let your body maintain the pressure levels constant.

5. Gives time for breakfast

Breakfast is very important to kick start the day. And most of the times as we wake up late we miss it. To ensure food to our intestines waking up early in the morning and breaking the fast by 10 a.m is very important.

Sleeping continuously for at least 7 hours in the night is necessary. Inadequate sleep will curb your ability to think creatively, cope up with stress and concentrate. All these stress factors will have a negative impact on your performance.

7. Helps metabolism

Our body needs to send away all the unwanted waste from within. Sleeping through the day till noon will disorganise the exile. We need to eat and sleep on time to maintain energy.

Mature And Immature Love

Share Free : Love has many facets. Love is still a mystery and every lover has his/her own story about love. What is mature love and what type is immature let us find out.

In immature love it is said that the person who falls in love has low self-respect. He/she has little self-confidence and finds a lover to see all the qualities that he/she misses in them. The person does not love himself/herself, but loves the partner with great fervor. This is called immature love.

Mature love - If a person has very high self-respect and great self-confidence, he/she is supposed to be in mature love. This is called mature love because it is expected that such persons know what they are doing? They know why they love a particular person and what they expect from the love.

In my opinion both these kids of love may fail equally badly or survive against all the odds, because while talking of love, we have to consider the partner also. I may be a very self respecting person and may have fallen in love after lot of deliberation. That does not matter to my partner who may react in different fashion as times passes. My success or failure does not depend only on me, but also my partner.

Love defies all analysis. Why two persons fall in attraction and become inseparable is a mystery. Very contrasting personalities may love each other for all the life and very similar partner may fall out of love in a short time. It is the very nature of love that makes it a subject of so much investigation.

Love - The Ultimate Vibration

Share Free : Feel the vibes - Although ridiculed, that question is not nearly as silly as it may seem at first. In fact, science has now recognized that what we call "reality" is in fact based on strings of vibrating particles.

In other words, we and everything else in the universe consist, in essence, of vibrations. And the ultimate vibration--the highest, lightest, fastest, finest, largest, and most powerful of all frequencies--is unconditional love.

The vibration of unconditional love is sheer joy, utter bliss, and total transcendence. It is the healing, uplifting Source of All That Is. Some of us call that ultimate love vibration God. Others use different names. The moniker makes no difference. God is love. Love is God. Love is the Goddess, too.

This begs some obvious questions, however. If everything is love, why is there so much ugliness and nastiness in this world? Why is our ultimate love-essence so well hidden? Why so much alienation, separation, suffering, and cruelty? Why are we wounded, fearful, and lacking instead of whole, loving, and abundant?

Sages have maintained for millennia that the physical world is just an illusion. For being "unreal," however, it certainly packs a powerful and painful bite.

No, the physical world we inhabit is very real. It serves many useful purposes, the most important of which is to reflect back to us the state of our vibes. If we don't like the reflection, instead of trying to "change the world," perhaps we might start with changing ourselves--our individual vibrations.

There are many ways to do this. We influence our vibrations every time we meditate, pray, chant, assume yoga postures, consume certain foods, herbs, or supplements, visualize, and more. And while the effects of the preceding activities are often very positive, they also tend not to be permanent. To keep experiencing the benefits, we have to repeat the chanting, the meditating, the yoga postures, the visualizations, the supplements, and so forth.

Some maintain that this is simply spiritual discipline. But it can also devolve into a spiritual treadmill, tying us to routine and repetition even when it may no longer make much sense for us to continue.

Instead, why not just go straight to our actual vibrations? Most of us intuitively sense that love is healing. What we don't yet realize is what wounds us in the first place. We are in the dark about what keeps us separate from that ultimate love vibration, locked into cycles of misery, poverty, violence, and despair.

Two words: self-judgment. Let us shine the light at long last on how self-judgment injures us at the energy-essence level because it does not vibrate. Self-judgment stops what is meant to be our free-flowing essences into a fixed interpretation of our experiences, even when that interpretation is mistaken or no longer valid.

Once parts of our vibrating essences are stopped entirely or slowed by self-judgment, we experience pain and disease at all levels of self: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. We manifest lack instead of abundance, disease instead of health.

Self-judgment hampers, warps, and twists the vibration of our essences into something barely recognizable and often repulsive. Self-judgment is the pervert, the liar, the deceiver, spreading darkness and disconnection, reveling in pain and mayhem. If self-judgment sounds like a more familiar term, such as Satan or the Devil, well, the shoe certainly fits.

All of us go through our lives reeling unknowingly from the self-judgments trapped within our vibrating essences which, as a consequence of self-judgment, do not vibrate as freely as they could and in some places do not vibrate at all. And, just as self-judgment wounds us individually, the collective reality we know as the human condition on earth suffers in the extreme from the combined impact of all of our self-judgments.

Believe it or not, the preceding is good news. It means that once we remove even the slightest self-judgment from our vibrating essences, we have healed not only ourselves individually, but our world collectively.

We are indeed linked to each other and All That Is through our interconnected vibrations. When self-judgment slows a part of our vibrating essences, the rest of us suffer as well, even if indirectly. The reverse is also true. When we remove a self-judgment from our vibrating essence, we help heal everyone and everything else around us.

Healing our vibrating essences, then, is the greatest gift we can offer to others as well as to ourselves. Far from being selfish or self-absorbed, healing self at the vibrating essence level is the ultimate act of generosity because doing so helps others heal, too.

We are indeed all that connected via the vibes.
